The Trafalgar Tree Past & Present
On December 18th, 1947, a Norwegian spruce arrived in for the first time in London, to be placed in Trafalgar Square. It's arrival was a thank you from Norway to Britain for providing sanctuary to the Norwegian government and royal family who lived in exile in London from 1940 to 1945 during Norway’s occupation.
